Senior Consultant

Keith Moderson is a Senior Consultant with BPI group. He is certified as a Practitioner by the Institute of Career Certification International.

He brings extensive experience in human resource management and organizational consulting with a focus on leadership development, executive coaching and career transition.

His industry expertise includes energy, professional services, insurance, manufacturing and municipal government.

Mr. Moderson is a member of the firm’s Executive Outplacement practice, which offers a highly personalized approach to career planning and transition services for companies, executives and other professionals. He provides career coaching for senior-level management and helps people make decisions around their careers and future. Mr. Moderson has a unique ability to engage and motivate clients, as well as apply various assessment tools to provide solutions tailored to each individual.

Prior to joining BPI group, Mr. Moderson was an organization consultant with his own independent practice, where he coached and advised executives, managers and professionals in Fortune 500 companies and small businesses. His consulting career began in Chicago in 1988 at an executive coaching firm dedicated to improving the health, judgment and effectiveness of leaders and management teams. Earlier in his career, Mr. Moderson held human resource management positions with The Higher Education Assistance Foundation and Northwestern National Life Insurance Company in Minneapolis.

Mr. Moderson earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in human resource administration from Loyola University in Chicago. He is proficient in the use of DiSC and other assessment tools and is certified in the Birkman Method. Mr. Moderson also has particular expertise coaching financial executives and is a past program co-chair of Financial Executives International (FEI) Career Transition Services in Chicago.
