President & Chief Executive Officer, North America

Juan-Luis Goujon is the President and CEO of BPI group, North America. He also serves as the Director of BPI group's International Business Unit.

A seasoned executive, he joined BPI group in 1995, bringing more than 15 years of experience in operations, executive transition, restructuring/change management and corporate finance. As the CEO of BPI group, North America, Mr. Goujon is responsible for overseeing the firm’s operations and strategic growth in North America. Additionally, as Director of BPI group’s International Business Unit, he is responsible for driving the organization’s strategy, structuring country leadership teams and furthering the growth of BPI group’s brand as a global leader in the HR industry.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Goujon served as chief executive officer of BPI group’s Spanish and Portuguese subsidiaries (called MOA –BPI group), which he founded in 1991, and grew to $20 million and 150 consultants strong. During these years, Mr. Goujon led MOA in the acquisition of several companies and was instrumental in the creation of the MOA Foundation, a service organization with an annual budget of $5 million created to help unemployed individuals find work. As CEO, he oversaw these firms’ consulting projects, with a particular emphasis on managing executives involved in business restructurings and major career transitions. He led the company’s corporate restructuring practice area, which specializes in strategic HR planning, change management, internal/external communications, local economic revitalization and team mobilization.

Before joining BPI group, Mr. Goujon served as the international operations vice president for Byly Laboratories, a leader in the pharmaceutical cosmetic industry. In this role, he oversaw the operations of the Company’s 15 international subsidiaries. Prior to that, he was CEO of TYCESA North America, a major European textiles and fashion conglomerate with sales of more than $1 billion. Earlier in his career, Mr. Goujon was a finance director and treasurer for Soljet Tours in New York.

Mr. Goujon holds a degree in economics from ICADE in Madrid, Spain, and has also completed the “Executive Program for Growing Companies” at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

In addition to his role as CEO of BPI group, North America, Mr. Goujon serves as the President of the Board of the French-American Chamber of Commerce-Chicago.
